A Friend of Mine by Xpoze, the Emirati label founded by Rawdha Al Shaffar, Buthaina Al Marri and Fatma Al Muddhareb, has designed an exclusive line of loungewear for Etihad.

The apparel is inspired by the simplicity of Emirati dress combined with a more international silhouette, with clean lines, earthy colours and breathable fabric. The crease-resistant sets are made of anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic modal fibre, and will be available to first class guests and those staying in the Residence on the Etihad Airbus A380 fleet.

The range was launched by Etihad in collaboration with luxury online retailer Moda Operandi at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, at a luxurious pyjama party of sorts, with guests sporting their most elegant sleep and loungewear. The Night at the Museum event has a Parisian nights meet Arabian style theme, and the venue was done up with opulent Moroccan carpets, traditional lanterns and majlis-style seating and rustic gold tables. Fashion filmmaker Michael Saint-Onge styled a number of VIP guests on The Louvre balcony – see our gallery below to see who was in attendance.
