A first look at Sonam Kapoor's wedding outfit

Sonam Kapoor is set to tie the knot to businessman Anand Ahuja today - and a first look at her bridal attire has just been revealed, with top Indian fashion stylist Anaita Adajania sharing this snap of the beautiful bride on Twitter:

Adajania is a Bollywood stylist and the Fashion Director of Vogue India - and she captioned these images with today's date:

It's very traditional for a bride to wear a red and gold saree on her wedding day - however, being a style icon, Kapoor appears to have chosen a lehenga that is draped like a saree in the same colours.

She's also gone for traditional jewellery, including a chooda on her arms and a matha patti on her head.

According to Indian media reports, the wedding will follow Sikh traditions and will take place at Kavita Singh's heritage bungalow in Bandra (Singh is Kapoor's aunt).

The wedding day design is by Anuradha Vakil, who also designed her mehendi outfit. Meanwhile for her sangeet ceremony she wore a stunningly embroidered Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla creation.
