The Dubai Frame is officially a world-record holder. The structure, located in Dubai's Zabeel Park, has been named World's Largest Frame by the Guinness World Records.

"We're proud to announce that we've hit a World Record for the World's Largest Frame as per the Guinness World Record," the Dubai Frame Twitter account announced, along with a video detailing the record.

The full title that the Dubai Frame holds is Largest Building in the Shape of a Picture Frame. It is a new Guinness World Records title.

Standing at 150 metres high and 93 metres wide, the structure is made up of 2,000 tonnes of steel and 2,900 metres of laminated glass. It also features more than 15,000 square metres of gold-coloured stainless steel. The Frame opened in January 2018.

Throughout Ramadan, the Dubai Frame is open from 3pm until 11pm, daily. And for the holy month, it has been announced that the landmark will offer free entry for children under the age of three, adults above 65 years and people of determination and two companions. Regular entry costs Dh50 for adults and Dh20 for children aged from three to 12.
