Throughout February, Laguna Waterpark at La Mer, Dubai shut down for annual maintenance. We were told it was to "improve your experience" – and it turns out that's exactly what they did.

The family-friendly themed park has now reopened to the public and announced a collaboration with health-conscious Dubai platform Fitness in DXB, to open a fully functional outdoor gym facility. It's located on the central promenade at the park.

The open-air studio, called FIT HUB, will be hosting a week-long free trial from March 3 to 7, meaning you can try out its classes for free ahead of the official launch on March 10. These include boot camps, yoga sessions, boxing and dance classes, as well as a variety of functional workouts.

Prices start from Dh99 for a single class, Dh449 for five classes or Dh799 for a package of ten.

So, now you can get your sweat on and then go directly to the slides or surf simulator to splash around and cool off.
