The inaugural In The Mix festival is coming to Zayed Sports City. The three-day outdoor event, held from Thursday to Saturday, January 30 to February 1, is set to bring live music, entertainment and more to Abu Dhabi. Tickets for the event are Dh50 per day.
DJs performing include Deniz Koyu, Wolfpack and Thomas Gold, with live local bands to be announced in the coming weeks.
In The Mix will enable festival-goers to immerse themselves ‘Into the Fantasy World’ – which is the festival’s theme – and features a mesmerising stage setup against Insta-worthy backdrops.
Other activities to expect include a Smash Room pop-up, a VR gaming area, a flight simulator, a Rodeo Bull and a surf simulator. As for what to eat, the festival will have local and international vendors and there will also be homegrown brands and artisans selling items in stalls.
The festival is set to be held periodically throughout the year with the first taking place at Zayed Sports City before setting up in a new locations around the city.
“We felt there was an appetite for an outdoor experience in Abu Dhabi that intersects music, entertainment, fashion, and food,” said the team from Mass Events. “In The Mix is our brainchild to bring communities across Abu Dhabi and the rest of the country together for a three-day open-air extravaganza that allows friends and family to make the most of the outdoor season.”
