More than 700 brands at 3,200 outlets across Dubai are participating in this year’s 24th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which runs from December 26 to February 2, 2019. There will be bargains of between 25 and 75 per cent off, plus raffles, promotions and shopping experiences taking place throughout the city-wide event.

DSF kicks off with a 12-hour sale, with discounts of up to 90 per cent off on products in fashion, beauty, homeware and lifestyle at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me’aisem, City Centre Barsha and City Centre Al Shindagha. The half-day sale is set to start at midday and run until midnight on Wednesday, December 26.

Each weekend, from December 27 onwards, bargains on product ranges at a specified shopping location – announced 24 hours prior – will be offered under DSF Weekend Surprises. Sales will start at 10am every Thursday, Friday and Saturday and continue until stocks last.

Daily raffles will also give shoppers the chance to win prizes such as Dh150,000, an Infiniti QX50, and one of seven Nissan car models. On top of that, a mega cash prize of Dh500,000 is up for grabs as the festival concludes.

Other activities

The Market Outside the Box (MOTB) pop-up market returns to Burj Park from January 25 to February 2, with stalls featuring homegrown brands and local designers, as well as roaming entertainment, kids’ play areas, plus vendors serving street-style food.

It wouldn’t be a proper spectacle in Dubai without fireworks – and punters won’t be disappointed. Every weekend throughout the duration of the festival, the sky will light up with sparklers, with huge firework displays across locations, including Global Village, The Beach at JBR and Dubai Creek. This also includes a particularly dazzling show on New Year’s Eve as part of the DSF celebrations.
