If you’re wondering what do to during the upcoming long weekend, Yas Waterworld may just have the solution. The water park on Yas Island has announced that it will be hosting its annual water battle on Monday, December 2.

Leander De Wit, general manager at Yas Waterworld, says, “We are excited to welcome guests for Abu Dhabi’s biggest water battle to mark the UAE’s 48th National Day. Having hosted guests for a successful event last year, we look forward to celebrating National Day with a water battle like no other.”

Guests can head over to the park’s Amwaj Wave Pool at 11.48am where coloured water pistols will be handed out to people on a first-come-first-serve basis. They can then team up and get ready to ‘out-splash’ the opposing team as they compete at the Amwaj Wave Pool battle arena. Limited water pistols are available so guests are encouraged to arrive early to pick theirs up.

To make the deal sweeter, Yas Theme Parks will be having a 48 per cent discount on entry tickets in celebration of the UAE's 48th National Day. UAE residents heading to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi can avail the offer, running from November 28 to December 2, which can be redeemed online via each park's website.

That means tickets for Yas Waterworld will be available for Dh130, while prices for Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi will be reduced from Dh295 to Dh150.
