Urban Decay’s Naked palettes are among its most popular items, and each has a different colour theme, with a mix of shades that can be used to create both neutral and dramatic looks. The first palette was warm-toned, the second cool-toned, the third full of rosy hues and the smokey featured darker colours for creating, you guessed it, smouldering eyes.
The latest addition to this line is the Heat palette – which features a variety of warm browns plus orange and sienna – hues that are on-trend right now. There is a mix of textures – from mattes to shimmers – and the shades range from light beige to dark chocolatey shimmery bronze brown.
The shadows come encased in sturdy packaging, with a magnifying mirror on the inside and a dual-ended brush – one side for patting on the pigment, and the other to blend.
What we like: The sturdy packaging makes the palette ideal to carry around. The brush is not the best, but it gets the job done if you are in a rush. The shadows are very pigmented, and blend beautifully. The shimmers need a little work, though, but it is nothing that a wet brush cannot fix. The shade range would suit most skin tones, so this is definitely one to own.
What we don't like: There is a lot of kickback from the shadows – and if you don' tap before application, prepare for fallout as well.
