Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are planning their wedding, and if the ring that the former baseball star proposed with is any sign – a showstopper thought to be worth $1 million (Dh3.65m) – the big day is set to be enormous. But could they be set to tie the knot in Dubai?
This week, the sportsman was quizzed about their upcoming nuptials, but he acted coy, avoiding questions about the location.
The line of questioning took place during a guest appearance on Strahan, Sara and Keke.
"When you think about wedding plans and Jennifer is your partner ... you do a lot of nodding," joked Rodriguez. "I don't know where the location is, I don't know what I'm wearing, I don't know when it is. I'll just show up."
That did not satisfy the inquisitive hosts, however, who decided to put him on the spot with a game called "This or That".
When Rodriguez dropped one big hint, saying "the wedding will be a long flight", host Keke replied: "It's in Dubai!"
Sadly for us in the UAE, Rodriguez quashed dreams of a destination wedding in the Emirates for the couple, saying: "I’m not gonna get into that. But no."

Although Rodriguez wouldn't confirm a UAE ceremony, the pair have revealed a few details about their big day.
During a chat with Entertainment Tonight, the Hustlers star said her father, David Lopez, would not be walking her down the aisle, but her 11-year-old son Max would. It is expected that Max's twin sister, Emme, will be a part of Lopez's bridal party, along with Rodriguez's daughters, Ella and Natasha.
"It's always tricky when you merge families, but Jennifer and Alex did a great job from the start," a source told People magazine of the couple and their children. "The kids are amazing together. And they have wanted Jennifer and Alex to get married for a long time. They will all definitely be a huge part of the wedding."
