Break out your comedy hats and sunglasses, partygoers: the big night is upon us. Prepare yourselves for the biggest, best evening of the year as we usher in 2010. Except that kind of pressure is the main problem with New Year's Eve, isn't it? No matter what you decide to do, a small part of you may just be wondering if somewhere else other people are having a better, crazier, more celebratory evening than you. Which explains why so many of us hedge our bets until the last minute on New Year's Eve.

If you're one of those, look no further. There are plenty of hotel deals about. There are several high-profile DJs in the country this evening, or if you simply feel like sitting with friends or family over a meal you are well-catered-for, too. Prices are per person unless otherwise stated.

There's a solid aftershow line-up too. How much? Tickets from Dh295. Kick off: 8pm. Where? Yas Hotel Why go? There's a reasonable offer that lets you stay in this new hotel for the night, including brunch tomorrow and late checkout at 6pm. How much? From Dh719. Kick off: check in from 2pm today. Where?
