It’s never been quicker to get your cosmetics as it is nowadays. Case in point, Pastels in Dubai has partnered with bgX – an app usually used for booking salon services at home – to ensure its products are delivered to your doorstep within 30 minutes. The salon stocks haircare and hairstyling items, from shampoos, conditioners and masks to hairspray, salt sprays and serums, from brands such as Kerastase, L’Oreal Professionnel and Redken.

While the super-quick Pastels service is only available in Dubai for now, here are some other local and international beauty websites that deliver in three days or less. As a bonus, a number of them offer cash on delivery – so you don’t have to part with your hard-earned dirhams until you have the items in your hands.

1. Ounass

What you can find: Ideal for those who like to invest in their beauty regime, Ounass stocks brands such as La Mer, Christian Louboutin Beauty, Oribe, Byredo, Givenchy, Aveda and La Prairie. You can also find products by relatively more affordable brands such as Nars, Bobbi Brown, Dermalogica, Murad and Lime Crime. The website offers a large selection of products from the brands it stocks, but its selection of niche fragrances – from the likes of Penhaligon’s and Frederic Malle – stand out.

Payment options: Credit card, online credit, PayPal, Apple Pay and cash on delivery (for an extra Dh25).

Delivery time: If you live in Dubai, you can get an order in two hours, either free if your bill is more than Dh500, or by pay Dh50 if less. Ounass also offers same-day and next-day delivery across the UAE for an extra charge if your total bill is less than Dh500.

2. Basharacare

What you can find: Basharacare focuses on skincare and haircare solutions for men and women. Invest in products from Caudalie, Dermalogica, SkinCeuticals and StriVectin or pamper your mane with offerings from Rene Furterer, Philip B and Philip Kingsley (the Elasticizer is fab for adding bounce, shine and moisture).

Payment options: Credit card and cash on delivery.

Delivery time: Same-day delivery on orders placed between midnight and 9am in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Orders placed between 10am and 11pm will be delivered the next working day. For Al Ain, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah, orders placed before 1pm will be delivered the next working day, while orders placed after 1pm will be delivered in two working days.

3. GlamBeaute

What you can find: The website has a large number of pocket-friendly brands, such as Flormar, Streax, Lottie London, The Color Workshop and The Camel Soap Factory, and also stocks a sizeable number of luxury brands. GlamBeaute offers some names that are not super-popular, but a quick Google search throws up good reviews, so some of these brands’ products may well be worth a try, especially at the prices they are listed for. There are also a number of hair and make-up tools, as well “fashion emergency” and “beauty solutions” categories that offer cheap and chic solutions for dressy events. GlamBeaute also stocks some pretty jewellery and baby care products.

Payment options: Credit card and cash on delivery.

Delivery time: GlamBeaute offers same-day and next-day delivery in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, for Dh50 (same-day) and Dh15 (next-day), depending on the time the order has been placed. Delivery to other emirates takes two to three days. Getting your products delivered on a Friday will cost an additional Dh25.

4. K Girls Closet

What you can find: This website not only offers beauty solutions by K-beauty brands, but also has select South Korean apparel labels if you fancy a mooch around. 5. Sephora Middle East

What you can find: A one stop-shop for all beauty junkies, Sephora has some of the best-rated products worldwide, and it’s more challenging to decide what not to buy than what to add to cart. Take your pick from eyeshadow palettes by Anastasia Beverly Hills and foundations by Fenty Beauty to Ouai and Aveda haircare, Dyson hair tools, as well as local and international fragrances. The advantages of shopping online are that you get free minis with your order and can browse the sale section. Payment options: Credit card and cash on delivery.

6. Amazon Prime

What you can find: This one is a bit tricky, because even though Amazon stocks a long list of brands – from Chanel, Elizabeth Arden and Guerlain to The Ordinary, Neutrogena and Karaja, not all products qualify for Amazon Prime. And the luxury of having a brand not usually immediately accessible, such as The Ordinary, delivered to your doorstep the next day is going to cost you. Payment options: Credit card and cash on delivery.

Delivery time: Next-day delivery.

Payment options: Credit card, PayPal and Apple Pay.

Delivery time: £25 (Dh118) gets you priority shipping, so you receive your products in two to three business days, or by the morning of day four at the latest.

11. Glamazle

What you can find: Glamazle has a number of brands that are hot on social media – Morphe, LA Girl, Artist Couture, ColourPop, Juvia’s Place, Makeup Geek, Violet Voss, Milani and Milk Makeup, among others that are not easy to find in brick-and-mortar stores in the UAE. You can also shop international skincare brands such as Glow Recipe (its Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask is almost always out of stock, but worth the wait), Sol de Janeiro and Josie Maran.

Payment options: Credit card, PayPal and cash on delivery.

Delivery time: Shipping to the UAE takes two to three days.

12. K Secret

What you can find: A number of websites offer K-beauty solutions, given their popularity in the UAE. In addition to popular brands such as TonyMoly, Some by Mi and CosRX, K Secret also offers a bigger selection including the popular (effective and fun) Elizavecca Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask, Huxley facial oils and Miracle Island all-in-one gels. Payment options: Credit card and PayPal.

Delivery time: The website promises delivery to the UAE in three days or less, and offers free and fast shipping for orders over Dh430.

15. Mimo Studio
