Salim-Sulaiman present Namaste Abu Dhabi, a magical journey of Bollywood melodies as part of the Abu Dhabi Summer Season programme. Along with a troupe of 20 musicians, singers, dancers and technicians, the world-renowned brothers have taken the musical and entertainment world by storm with an array of hits that span Bollywood and Hollywood.

Nationwide – New movie

In the new movie The House, Scott and Kate Johansen (Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler) are encouraged by their friend Frank (Jason Mantzoukas) to start an illegal, Vegas-style casino in their basement after spending their daughter’s college fund. Comedy, also starring Nick Kroll, Jeremy Renner, Michaela Watkins, Allison Tolman and Cedric Yarbrough.

In the latest iteration of the ongoing Emirati memory project, Lest We Forget, Warehouse421 presents Emirati Adornment: Tangible & Intangible, an interactive exhibition that explores Emirati identity as conveyed through modes of adornment, both tangible items as well as invisible aspects, including knowledge and skills to apply henna, khol and fragrance, as well as grooming and hairstyles

Dubai – Film screening

Catch a screening of the film Ali, The Goat, and Ibrahim as part of the Diff @Vox365 film series. The Egyptian film tells the story of Ali (Ali Sobhy), who refuses to accept the death of his girlfriend and believes her soul has been reincarnated in a goat, and Ibrahim (Ahmed Magdy), who hears voices that control him. When the two societal outcasts meet, their friendship grows and they travel together to find a cure for their ailments. The film debuted at Dubai International Film Festival and is in Arabic with English and Arabic subtitles.
