Kristina Fidelskaya’s latest collection, titled “Noor,” sets high standards for Eid glamour. It’s the Dubai-based designer’s first time designing a collection for Eid, and though it’s a slight departure from her usual sleek and chic ready-to-wear, her latest gowns reflect the same elegant and upscale aesthetic.

“I decided to create a collection for Eid to cater to today’s Middle Eastern woman, who is traditional and modest yet sees fashion as an art form for creative expression,” says Fidelskaya.

The ethereal 16-piece collection features romantic off-the-shoulder necklines, sheer elements, caped gowns, alluring laces and hand-embellished floral details. The designs are crafted from silky charmeuse and sheer georgette textiles, sourced from world-famous fabric manufacturer Jakob Schlaepfer. Though they’re intended as glamorous evening dresses for Ramadan and Eid, we can foresee them being big hits among brides-to-be too.

While some designers in the UAE tend to drift in and out of the industry, producing collections at their leisure, Fidelskaya is proving to be quite the opposite. She showed her autumn/winter 2016 collection this past March at Fashion Forward in Dubai, and clearly won’t be taking a break any time soon, having just announced a partnership with international music festival, Sensation. The music event will be taking place in Dubai this November at Bab Al Shams Event Arena, and Fidelskaya will be producing an exclusive capsule collection for the show. In typical Sensation style, the designs will be white, and Fidelskaya will also be creating some limited-edition T-shirts.
