Burberry Beauty has a new face: Iris Law, the daughter of British actor Jude Law. The 16-year-old starred in the campaign for Liquid Lip Velvet, a new lip colour from Burberry, which was unveiled on January 16. Law, who follows in the footsteps of models Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Lily Donaldson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and actress Amber Anderson, said on her Instagram page that she was “honoured and excited to have become part of the Burberry family”.

The campaign

Shot by fashion photographer Angelo Pennetta in London, the campaign marks Law's first-ever global campaign. Burberry's artistic consultant Wendy Rowe, a make-up artist and the author of Eat Beautiful: Nourish Your Skin From the Inside Out, put together the looks for the shoot. In it, Law is seen sporting Liquid Lip Velvet in Oxblood. The long-lasting matte-cream lip colour is also available in 13 other shades, including Light Nude, Peach, Regiment Red and Black Cherry, each characterised by a non-drying formula, smooth texture and bold velvet finish.

The new lip range is available in Burberry and Sephora stores across the UAE, as well as Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdale’s in Dubai.

Behind the scenes

The tech-savvy luxury brand also announced two social-media innovations, including Burberry's first beauty-dedicated Tumblr page; and a series of "colour stories" offering buyers tips, tricks and pairings for the new lip-colour range on Pinterest.
