Tottenham weren’t the only Premier League side to capture a victory Thursday night, as the Swans claimed the top spot in Group A with their second win in as many matches, with English midfielder Wayne Routledge scoring put his side ahead in the 52nd minute. Gerhard Tremmel also saved a 15th-minute penalty shot by Goran Karanovic. With six points, Swansea sit three points clear of the Swiss side, in second, and Valencia in third.

PSV, currently tied atop the Eredivisie table, rebounded from a 2-0 loss to Ludogorets Razgrad in their first Europa fixture. Memphis Depay struck first in the 13th minute and Florian Jozefzoon added the second just before the 90th.
Wigan Athletic 3-1 NK Maribor
The FA Cup winners moved into second in Group D, behind Rubin Kazan, thanks to a pair of goals from Nick Powell and Ben Watson’s 33rd-minute score. Powell, with his first mark in the 22nd minute, became the first Latic to score in Europe.

Lazio erased a 3-1 deficit in the span of two minutes as sub Sergio Flocarri netted goals in the 84th and 85th minutes to salvage a draw and remain fixed atop Group J with the Turkish side at four points each.
Kuban Krasnodar 0-2 Valencia
Paco Alcacer broke the scoreless draw in the 73rd minute and Sofiane Feghouli provided another goal to help Valencia bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Swansea in their first Europa League match.
