Since establishing their clothing line in 2008, the Zahran sisters have come a long way with their clothing label, Dinz, while staying true to its lively and quirky premise. This season, along with ready-to-wear, jewellery and clutches, Dinz launched a children’s line echoing the same exuberant spirit of its mother label.

Sisters Dina and Rima Zahran displayed their newest designs at SoH, Dubai’s hip new nail haven at the new Galleria mall on Al Wasl Road. Guests were treated to exclusive manicures featuring nail art inspired by the collection — black and white hearts, stripes, tribal motifs and pops of pink and yellow flowers to match prints hung on racks around the salon.

There's an unmistakable Alice in Wonderland vibe to the clothing, with bold hearts and flouncy-yet-structured peplums, made somewhat mature with a mainly black and white palette and occasional pops of red, bubblegum pink and sunshine yellow.

While the collection launches just in time for spring, the pieces can be easily translated into fall too, and can be taken from day-to-night.

They exude attitude that is audacious and youthful; a reminder that dressing up is a pastime with no age limits. Favourites included a tribal midi-length pencil skirt, a checkered high-low dress, black jeans with a stripe of white pom-poms on the outer side of each leg and a playful-yet-sultry black top with puffed up three-quarter length sleeves.

Perspex clutches were shown in both black and white, featuring heart-shaped clasps and filled with tiny heart pieces, while gold geometrically intricate cuffs and rings were uniquely adorned with pearls, setting an upscale-kitschy tone to the accessories collection.
