How does it feel to be back for Season 2?

It feels great. I’m super excited and I’m overwhelmed by the expanse of what happened the last time and hopefully this season will be even better. There are a lot more designers coming in and it will be truly amazing.

What might be better than the first edition?

It’s better organised and it also finally has the support of the government, which is great. Sheikh Mohammed is behind it, which is more than enough to suggest this is a big event.

What can you reveal about the haute-couture collection you’ll be showing on the runway?

I can’t tell you much, of course (laughs). But I can tell you it will be totally different from my last collection and a lot more colourful. More towards the pastel shades, let’s put it at that. It’s a modern take on Belle Époque.

Do you have a current muse?

I don’t attach myself to one certain muse because I want Ezra to be worn by every woman. I’m not looking for a specific kind of woman as a muse. I just want to portray the fact that an Ezra dress can really be worn by anyone.
