Ladies have just a few weeks to wait before the latest styles of Chanel’s Coco Chain eyewear hit UAE boutiques. Within the range, four new frames for sunglasses and three for opticals – all characterized by the maison’s iconic metal chain interlaced with leather.
The chain – in gold, silver or ruthenium metal – comes in single or multiple rows on the temples of the sunglasses and the pilot frame is supported by a single row of links. On the cat eye and square frames, the chain embellishes the temples in two rows, increasing to three on the extra large frames.
Alongside timeless black, white and beige, the colour palette spans navy, violet, petrol, tobacco brown and tortoiseshell and barely-there pink. As for lenses, they match the frames and are either gradated or mirrored.
Glasses, which come in the same hues and finishes as the sunglasses, project preppy-chic.
All frames, of course, bear Chanel’s discreet “double C” on the chain, tone-on-tone.
