ABU DHABI // Heritage competitions and camel beauty contest to take place in the eighth edition of Al Dhafra Festival which will begin on Thursday.

Other competitions include Saluki race, falcon hunting, Arabian horse race, and date packaging contests.

Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, member of the Higher Organising Committee of the festival, said he hopes the festival will stimulate the economic activity in the Western Region and will promote Madinat Zayed’s tourism.

The festival will take place in the Western Region’s Madinat Zayed.
