DUBAI // The Roads and Transport Authority will provide special cruises for revellers to watch New Year’s Eve fireworks celebrations in Dubai.
The RTA will deploy its Water Bus, Water Taxi and Dubai Ferry services before midnight from two locations in the city.
The first, from Al Saif Marine Transport Station on Dubai Creek, will enable customers to watch the fireworks from Dubai Festival City, said Hussain Khan Sahib, deputy director of Marine Transport Department.
The second, Water Bus service from Dubai Marina, will offer customers a sea-view of fireworks and carnival games at the Burj Al Arab, the Palm Jumeirah and The World Islands.
“The RTA seeks to make its marine transit a source of entertainment and mobility, given Dubai’s attractive waterfront, by making spectacular offers that reflect continuous interaction with service beneficiaries,” Mr Sahib said
