Langham Place Residences in Downtown Dubai will start selling units on Monday ahead of opening its doors in the third quarter of Dubai’s Expo year, property developer Omniyat said.

The luxury hotel and residential development, modelled after London’s The Langham, will include a 167-room hotel as well as 239 luxury residences. Expo 2020 will run from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021.

“Omniyat has always strived to break new ground in Dubai’s property sector and to collaborate with the world’s most prestigious brands,” said Mahdi Amjad, Omniyat executive chairman and chief executive.

“Dubai has been longing for a hotel like this to shake the luxury sector and redefine luxury lifestyle in the market.”

There will be one to three bedroom units for sale as well as duplex penthouses. Prices were not disclosed.

The project will be in the middle of the Marasi development, a Dh1 billion development that is expected to take between five and seven years to complete. It will include five marinas capable of berthing 700 yachts, a yacht club, up to 200 water homes, various retail outlets and floating restaurants.
