The following conditions were imposed on ex-Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn as part of the $9 million (Dh33m) bail that freed him from jail, according to a member of his legal team.
If he violates these terms, he will be sent back to jail.
1. Must reside in Tokyo.
2. Cannot travel abroad; must surrender passport to his lawyer.
3. Needs court permission to go on a trip of more than two nights.
4. Must install surveillance cameras at the entrances of his residence.
5. Prohibited from accessing the internet and using e-mail.
6. Can only use a personal computer at his lawyer's office that is not connected to the internet.
7. Banned from communicating with parties involved in the case.
8. Needs court's permission to attend a Nissan board meeting.
9. Banned from contacting Nissan managers.
Mr Ghosn walked out of a Tokyo prison on a $9m bail on March 6, slipping past reporters in a face mask and moving closer to mounting a defence against financial misconduct charges that he has called "meritless".
Mr Ghosn, among the world's most prominent auto executives whose dramatic rescue of Nissan two decades ago made him a celebrity in the industry and in Japan, was barely recognisable as he left Tokyo Detention House where he had been detained for more than 100 days in a small cell with no heating.
Surrounded by security guards and dressed in a workman's uniform and a blue cap, Mr Ghosn's face was obscured by thick glasses and the surgical-type mask, a far cry from his usual tailored suits. He managed to avoid many of the reporters camped at the site before being whisked away in a small Suzuki van.
Mr Ghosn paid the 1 billion yen ($9 million) bail, among the highest ever in Japan, after the Tokyo District Court rejected a last-ditch appeal by prosecutors to keep him in jail.
Mr Ghosn, also the former chairman of Renault and Mitsubishi Motors, has agreed to strict bail conditions and given assurances he will remain in Tokyo, surrender his passport to his lawyer and submit to extensive surveillance.
