Drivers in the UAE will once again pay the same amount at the petrol pumps in December.
Prices have now been kept at the same level by the Fuel Price Committee since April, which coincided with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.
The breakdown per litre is as follows:
• Super 98: Dh1.91
• Special 95: Dh1.80
• Diesel: Dh2.06

Petrol prices in the UAE were liberalised in August 2015 to allow them to move in line with the market.
Global oil prices rounded a fourth week of gains on the back of positive news about Covid-19 vaccines and ahead of a meeting of Opec+ producers this week.
Brent, the international benchmark, under which two-thirds of the world’s oil is traded, registered a weekly gain of 7.2 per cent, settling at $48.18 per barrel on Friday. West Texas Intermediate settled at $45.53 per barrel, a weekly gain of 8 per cent.
