Emirates takes delivery of first two-class Airbus A380 – video
Emirates is showcasing its first two-class version of its superjumbo Airbus A380 at the Dubai Airshow this week.
The aircraft, which flew to the UAE direct from Airbus in Hamburg Finkenwerder, is the Dubai carrier’s 68th A380 and is set to enter service to Copenhagen on December 1.
The two-class configured A380 features 58 flatbed seats in business class and 557 seats in economy, plus an onboard lounge.
Emirates was the first airline to order the A380 and is the world’s largest operator of the aircraft. It currently flies the A380 to 34 destinations from Dubai and has a further 72 planes on order.
