Damac Properties said it has launched sales of its luxury villas at Akoya Park, the latest phase of its Akoya by Damac master development off Umm Sequim Road in Dubai.

The scheme features 200 villas set within three clusters – Rockwood, Richmond and Topanga – with a starting price of Dh2.1 million.

The developer said Akoya Park will include 4.3 million sq feet of open parkland, an amphitheatre, running and cycling tracks, life-sized chess board and a swimming pool fronted by a man-made beach.

“Imagine stepping out of your home onto more than 4 million sq ft of lush private gardens,” said Ziad El Chaar, the managing director, Damac Properties. “Akoya Park will deliver a whole new concept of luxury living among nature, with all the amenities expected of a modern family.”

Work on Akoya is underway, with main construction contracts for villas and apartments awarded and three holes of the Trump International Golf Club, Dubai and the driving range grassed, according to Damac.

US tycoon Donald Trump confirmed earlier this year that he would front a scheme of 100 luxury mansions as part of the golf course development.
