Emirates to offer flagship A380 service to Amman over summer months
The Dubai-based carrier will use its premier aircraft on scheduled flights between June and October
Emirates will operate its A380 Airbus to and from Amman over the summer months in response to increased demand.
The decision will see the airline operate one of its three daily flights on the route to and from the Jordanian capital with its flagship aircraft.
This will be the first time that Emirates will run a scheduled A380 service to Amman, following the one-off flight the carrier offered in September 2016.
From June 1 to October 26, A380 flight EK 903 will depart Dubai at 2pm and arrive in Amman at 3.55pm, while the return flight, EK 904 will leave the Jordanian capital at 6pm, arriving back in the UAE at 10pm.
Emirates has been flying to Jordan for 33 years, and has carried over 5.5 million passengers to and from Amman.
The airline has been expanding its operations to the country and today offers three daily return flights using the Boeing 777.
