Air Senegal, the state-owned flagship airline of the west African country, signed a preliminary order with Airbus for eight A220 worth $732 million (2.68 billion) at list prices.
The new jets will be used in Africa and non-stop routes from Dakar to London and Geneva, Airbus said on Tuesday at the Dubai Airshow.
The plane maker declined to disclose the value of the deal.
