YouTube star MatPat is coming to Abu Dhabi this October for Middle East Games Con. The creator and presenter of The Game Theorists will be at the region's gaming festival from Thursday, October 24 to Saturday, October 26, organisers announced today.
In a video message, MatPat told Games Con fans: “I’m excited to be there, this is the first huge gaming event that I’m headed to in the Middle East!” He added: “I’m also really excited to learn a bit more about what gaming in the Middle East looks and feels like."
The Game Theorists describes itself as "the smartest show in gaming" and has more than 12 million subscribers, so if you have any burning gaming questions, MatPat's channel may just answer them. He explores gaming theories and rivalries, discusses the science and logic of gaming and debates some of the industry's most controversial issues.

Middle East Games Con 2019
Games Con is set to return to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre for the third time this year.
Organised by the team behind the Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC), it is the GCC's largest dedicated gaming event that will bring the region's ever-growing community together. It's expected that 20,000 gaming enthusiasts will pass though the doors across the weekend.
Gaming fans can expect meet and greets, product launches, esport tournaments, anime, cosplay and competitions, as well as opportunities to shop for your merchandise, tech, clothing and games.
Tickets are available now for Dh115.50 for single-day access, Dh315 for a three-day festival pass, Dh500 pro-gamer VIP pass, Dh800 champion gamer VIP pass and Dh2,500 ultimate gamer VIP pass. There are also family ticket options available.
