Wu-Tang Clan’s secret Shaolin album won’t be heard anytime soon
Released on December 2, A Better Tomorrow technically marks the seminal hip-hop troupe’s first album of new material in seven years.
Only that’s not quite the whole story. Six months earlier the group made history with the unprecedented artistic statement/marketing stunt which was Once Upon A Time in Shaolin – an 128-minute epic of which, get this, only a single copy was printed. Oh, and Cher features on two songs, oddly.
Set to be auctioned to the highest bidder, but otherwise unheard by human ears, Skrillex was recently forced to deny rumours he shelled out $5 million for the album, after it’s weighty silver box was featured in his latest video.
