If World of Warcraft players weren't already spending a bit too much time glued to their screens, Blizzard has revealed another addictive addition to its fantasy world.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a collectable card game in which the characters, spells and artefacts from the multiplayer online role-playing game will be transformed into digital cards ready for duelling.
While it will be free to play, gamers will be able to increase their firepower by buying cards from the online store, with prices said to be around US$1 (Dh3.67) for a pack of five.
Hearthstone, which will be playable on PCs, Macs and Apple tablets (but only to those with a Blizzard Battlenet account), is due out before the end of the year.
