How true are the rumours that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to wed in Windsor? The Daily Star reports the couple are planning a low-key ceremony with close friends and family before leaving for the south of France to celebrate at their luxurious Château Miraval estate. "They have not finalised a date, but they're planning to slip out and get married with the minimum of fuss," a source told the paper. Pitt is currently shooting for Ridley Scott's new film The Counselor, while Jolie is on the set of the Disney film Maleficent. * IANS

Posh to join Spice Girls stage launch

Victoria Beckham has confirmed she will join her former band mates - Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell - to launch their stage musical Viva Forever in London in December. Early reports said Beckham would not be able to participate because of scheduling conflicts. The Spice Girls were last seen together in public in 2008 when they announced their reunion tour. The forthcoming musical, the brainchild of their former manager Simon Fuller and the Mamma Mia! producer Judy Craymer, will feature their biggest hits. * IANS

Michael Jackson's fans left thousands of roses at his tomb on Monday, marking the third anniversary of his death. Jackson died at the age of 50 in 2009. His fans banded together to collect US$30,000 (Dh110,000) and deliver 10,000 red roses to his tomb in Los Angeles. The Achy Breaky Heart singer Billy Ray Cyrus is making his Broadway debut in Chicago this November, detouring from his country roots in taking on the role of a criminal lawyer for a seven-week engagement.
