There's just a matter of days now until Fifa 19 hits consoles around the world and EA Sports has ramped up the excitement another notch by releasing a new video advert for the game.

But just why is Cristiano Ronaldo standing in a garden (presumably his) flipping burgers?

The video has appearances from the likes of France superstar Kylian Mbappe, Brazilian Neymar and Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and Pep Guardiola. Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard can be seen in the studio to complement the new Champions League format available in this year's game.

And then, in Ronaldo's burger-flipping scene, he is joined by internet sensation Elijah Quashie, who is better known as The Chicken Connoisseur and star of YouTube show The Pengest Munch.

Ronaldo has already showed the world that he was the first to receive a copy of the new game, which is available for Champions and Ultimate Edition pre-order customers from September 25.

It hits the shops on September 28, although Origin Access Premier subscribers can play on PC from September 20.

Ronaldo, who joined Juventus from Real Madrid in the summer, scored his first goals for his new club at the weekend against Sassuolo. Juventus face Valencia in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
