The Ritz-Carlton DIFC in Dubai will transform its ballroom into a luxurious majlis during the Holy Month and is offering a sumptuous iftar buffet complete with Arabic sushi, a hummous fountain and a falafel waffle station.
The iftar buffet will have a selection of hot and cold mezze, salads, seafood, grills and a range of desserts, dates and Arabic sweets. New dishes include lamb shawarma, hammour and shish kebab rolls. Diners can dip pita bread, falafel and stuffed olives into the hummous fountain and sample different combinations at the falafel waffle station. An a la carte Middle Eastern menu has be created for suhour.
Traditional drinks, including jallab, sahlab, and Arabic and Turkish coffee, will be served during both iftar and suhour.
The iftar buffet will be served from sunset to 9pm; Dh190 for adults and Dh100 for children (6-12). Suhour will be served from 9pm to 2am; The hotel will also serve shisha in special tents set up in the Sunken Garden; from Dh85.
