The Grand Tour, Amazon's new motoring TV show starring former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, was filming in the streets of Downtown Dubai on Monday afternoon — and it looks like the City's roundabouts could be in for a typically irreverent makeover if our exclusive video and photos are any indication.
Hammond, who can be seen in our photographs before the carnage began, was spotted climbing into what appears to be a tank which he then drove down the street and over the middle of a landscaped roundabout.
The road was closed off briefly for the stunt, after which the crew dispersed as quickly as the had arrived, leaving only a tank-ravaged roundabout in their wake.
Hammond, Clarkson and May have recently been touring the world filming episodes for their new show, with stops in California, Lapland and Nashville, among others. Their giant mobile studio tent is currently based at the base of the Burj Khalifa, with Dubai reportedly the final stop on their tour.
The Grand Tour recently earned the dubious honour of becoming the most illegally downloaded show, with 7.9 million downloads of the first episode, knocking Game of Thrones off the top spot.
