Television channel Fox Life confirmed on October 31 that it will be broadcasting the series Jamie Oliver's Quick and Easy Food, with the first episode being screened at 7pm on Thursday, November 2.

Available exclusively on Etisalat's subscription-based eLife, the series will feature the famous chef preparing dishes using just five ingredients, with a focus on simplicity that Oliver is hoping will get more people interested in cooking their own meals. “I can’t believe it’s taken me 20 years to work out,” says the chef, “that just focusing on five ingredients, killer combinations and technique can give you some of the most exciting cooking ever.”

Quick and Easy Food will be shown in eight episodes – each half an hour long – that will demonstrate to viewers that cooking good food need not be a stressful or an overly time-consuming experience, which is sure to resonate with a UAE audience, no matter their skill levels in the kitchen.
