Game of Thrones season eight, episode two leaked early online last night thanks to the show's German broadcaster, Amazon Prime.
Fans catching up with episode one ahead of Monday morning’s broadcast of episode two, which was due at 3am German time (5am UAE, when the show also lands on OSN Play here in the Middle East), were surprised when the show continued straight into episode two after the credits rolled. This follows on from a leak of episode one the previous week, when DirecTV Now took the “Now” part of its name a little too literally and streamed the episode four hours ahead of scheduled slot in the US.
The latest leak was only available to holders of a German Amazon Prime account initially, but naturally it was quickly ripped and shared with other sites. The footage first appeared on the website Openload, and although it was quickly taken down the footage had already begun to spread.

"We regret that, for a short time, Amazon customers in Germany were able to access episode two of season eight of Game of Thrones," an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement to TheWrap on Sunday night. "This was an error and has been rectified."
HBO’s legal team quickly acted to close down as many errant links as possible, but if you’re hanging in to watch the show’s 11pm screening on OSN this evening, you might want to spend the day avoiding the internet, with a bumper pack of spoilers now online from both the early screenings and the official ones to be avoided for the rest of the day.
