The chief executive and partner of Supperclub Mena, Yassin Matbouly explains how the concept combines food and culture, art and entertainment.

What can people expect from Supperclub Dubai?

Supperclub Dubai is rooted in fine dining with a contemporary twist and choreographed world-class entertainment. In line with the founder’s vision, we will offer guests a feast for all the senses in a theatrical setting.

How important is the food to the concept?

The dining element is integral to the Supperclub concept; in fact, our Dubai outlet is focused more on fine dining than any of the other venues around the world. Our head chef Dom Robinson is famed for his creative approach, and guests can experience a culinary journey of unconventional cuisine using the finest ingredients from across the globe. There is always an element of surprise at Supperclub, so the menu will frequently evolve and feature à la carte dishes with a twist on European fusion. The choreographed performing arts will be on show throughout dinner, and integrated throughout the six dining areas.

How will Supperclub Dubai differ from your other ventures?

Dubai is going to be the second largest in the world, after LA, and very much focused on the dining element. The art aspect will be a key differential – we will not only be bringing in performance artists, but also working with a curator on various installations, from sculptures to paintings, by local and international artists.

What are your future plans for the UAE?

We are putting all our efforts into launching the first Supperclub in Dubai. However, we do hope to roll out further venues in the future, with potential locations including Abu Dhabi, Morocco and Qatar.

Supperclub Dubai opens on Friday in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, West Crescent, The Palm Jumeirah. For bookings and further details email reservations@supperclubdubai.com
