Stars celebrate Chopra's legacy at film premiere

Plus Aamir Khan talks new film Talaash, Hrithik Roshan's dedication leaves Vivek Oberoi impressed and Sonakshi Sinha likely to dub for Rise of the Guardians.

Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan joined their fellow Bollywood stars to celebrate the legacy of the filmmaker Yash Chopra at the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan on Monday at the Mumbai studios of Yash Raj Films. Chopra died last month, days after finishing the film. "We're missing him every moment," said Khan, the film's star. "His legacy has been wonderfully celebrated. I hope everyone enjoys the film." Also in attendance were the film's female leads Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, as well as the biggest names in Bollywood: Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Imran Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Randhir Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor. "He's still alive for me through his films, work, music," said Anil Kapoor. Chopra's family members were also present at the premiere. - IANS

Aamir Khan talks new film Talaash

The actor Aamir Khan, who plays a cop in his next film Talaash, says the thrilling and emotional script attracted him to the project. "When I was listening to the script, I was very stressed and tense as I could not predict what was going to happen. So I found the story very exciting," said Khan. "It's not only a drama and a suspense, but also a very emotional story." Directed by Reema Kagti, the movie also stars Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor. It opens in India on November 30.

Roshan's dedication leaves Oberoi impressed

The actor Vivek Oberoi says he is impressed by his Krrish 3 co-star Hrithik Roshan because the latter did not stop filming when he injured his hand last week. "So impressed with Hrithik. Even with a profusely bleeding cut in the hand, he kept shooting with absolute dedication. Hats off! Inspiring," Oberoi posted on Twitter. The superhero sci-fi film, directed by Hrithik's father, Rakesh Roshan, co-stars Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut. It is scheduled for release next year. - IANS

Sonakshi likely to dub for Rise of the Guardians

The Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha's next movie role could be that of a tooth fairy. According to production sources, Sinha is lending her voice to the Hindi version of the Hollywood animation film Rise of the Guardians. The DreamWorks Animation movie will be released in India in December and is about five guardian angels coming together to save the world. The five key characters include Santa, Tooth Fairy, Pixie Dust, Sandman and Easter Bunny. Casting is still under way for the actors who will lend their voices to the other four characters. - IANS
