The stars were out in Dubai on Friday at the VIP launch of Clé Dubai, the new highly-anticipated restaurant by celebrity chef Greg Malouf.

It was a relatively intimate sit-down dinner with 250 VIPs in attendance. Among the guests were American socialites Paris Hilton, her sister Nicky Hilton and Khloe Kardashian. American hip-hop artist Akon was also there.

There was a big Bollywood presence at the party, with mega star Hrithik Roshan stealing the spotlight from just about everyone else in the room. Other Bollywood stars on hand included Zayed Khan, Dino Morea and Chunky Pandey.

The Hilton sisters were seated together at one table, with Khloe Kardashian and Akon sitting across from each other at a table nearby.

We’re sure the Bollywood stars sat down to try Malouf’s signature food, but every time I saw them, they were walking around the room, mingling and posing for pics.

The restaurant was buzzing with energy and small crowds gathered every time a new celeb walked in. Khloe Kardashian arrived before the Hilton sisters and we noticed she disappeared to the bathroom just minutes before the Hiltons arrived. Kardashian re-emerged about 15 minutes later.

While most celebs at the launch have been quiet about the event on social media, Paris Hilton can’t stop talking about her trip to Dubai.

She tweeted "Fun #GirlsNightOut at @CleDubai with @KhloeKardashian & @NickyHilton," and posted a photo of the three of them together at the event.

The Hilton sisters were wearing new dresses from Sarah Belhasa's designer store Studio8 in Dubai. Paris tweeted, "Love the beautiful gold gown I got today from @studio8dxb. Feel like a #GoldenGoddess in it."

On Instagram, she wrote, “So happy to be here with my sister for her first time in Dubai. Having the best time together! @CleDubai was incredible! The restaurant is beautiful & the food is phenomenal! Such a fun party tonight!”

Paris will be the DJ for a second VIP party tomorrow night at Clé Dubai. Saturday’s event will be standing room only, with more than 1,000 people scheduled to attend.

With a star-filled launch like this, Clé Dubai can expect to have a strong following when it officially opens to the public on Monday, October 13. We can’t wait.

Clé Dubai is located in the Al Fattan Currency House in DIFC.
