Are you ready to get your laugh on? Rove Hotels has partnered with The Courtyard Playhouse and will host an improvisation theatre night at one of the Rove Hotels in Dubai on the third Thursday of each month.
Featuring top improv actors, the performance will feature two of the most popular shows from The Courtyard Playhouse - This is Impro' and Racy Desis. Each performance should be unique as it is completely unscripted and based on improvisation.
Improvisation is a type of live theatre which focuses on spontaneity rather than following a script. Usually the actors will take suggestions from the audience to get started.
The Courtyard Playhouse in Al Quoz opened its door three years ago in the Emirates and focuses on helping local talent develop their skills through performances.
Starting on August 17, The Courtyard Playhouse will run 10 shows across the four hotels in the city (Rove Downtown, Rove City Centre, and the recently opened Rove Trade Centre). There is no entree fee to the shows.
