Louis Tomlinson will be back in Dubai next year for a one-night gig on Saturday, April 18.

The One Direction star took announced dates for his upcoming world tour on Thursday. He wrote: "Been waiting for this moment since I started my solo career. Can't wait to see you all on tour."

Fans should set an alarm for 8am on Thursday, October 31 when tickets will go on sale. They'll be available directly from the Coca-Cola Arena. Prices have not yet been confirmed for the concert which will kick-off at 8pm.

Expect to hear hits like Miss You and Just Hold On as well as plenty of songs from Tomlinson's debut solo album which is set for release in January.

He's also likely to perform his latest release We Made It. The video for the track clocked up over 32,000 views after just seven minutes online when it was released earlier this week.

The pop star rose to fame as part of the boy-band One Direction, who found their platform via British reality TV show The X Factor.

The Dubai tour date will be Tomlinson's first gig on his world tour that is outside of Europe. He'll then travel to Asia, Australasia, South America and North America. Tomlinson also tweeted that there were still a few more dates to be added.
