Comedian Josh Widdicombe will perform at Dubai Opera in September.
The British stand-up, best known for his self-deprecating appearances on UK panel shows, such as Have I Got News For You and A League of Their Own, will take to the stage on Friday September 13.
Widdicombe, 36, combines sharp observations about everyday life with anecdotes highlighting his own fallibility and irritation with the modern world – all delivered in that trademark, slightly quizzical, West Country drawl.
Widdicombe, who is one of the presenters on Bafta award-winning Channel 4 talk show The Last Leg and has performed four times on the BBC's flagship comedy vehicle Live at the Apollo, will be supported in Dubai by Welsh comedian Lloyd Langford and English stand-up Maisie Adam. The night will be hosted by comedian Ed Gamble.
