World-famous life coach Tony Robbins is bringing his sage words to the Dubai stage.

It was first announced in February that the author and motivational speaker will host his first live public appearance in the city this year, as part of a new edutainment event.

Now we know that Robbins, 59, who has penned books such as Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant Within, will appear at the Coca-Cola Arena on September 3.

The life and business strategist is expected to deliver a talk "designed to help you unlock and unleash the forces inside", to help guests reach their full potential, both at work and in their home life.

Tickets are available from 12pm today at www.tonyrobbinsdxb.com or www.eventhere.com, with early-bird seats priced from Dh999.

Robbins's talk will form part of Achieving the Unimaginable, a 10-hour learning and entertainment marathon from Najahi Events.

“We wanted to enter the market with a never-done-before offer to grow the edutainment segment,” said Awfa Mustafa, CEO of Najahi Events. “Najahi Events was launched after I attended a Tony Robbins event in 2015, so I know how powerful his seminars and events can be in terms of the profound impact they have on people’s lives. Through this, we hope to be part of the change and the evolution of the mindset of participants.”

The event will also feature other guests speakers, with a line-up set to be revealed in the near future.

Coca-Cola Arena

This is the fourth act announced to perform in Dubai's new mega-venue, the Coca-Cola Arena, which will open in City Walk this June. Comedian Russell Peters will bring his Deported World Tour to the arena on June 6, becoming the first-ever act to perform in the 17,000-capacity indoor venue. Following that, American pop-rock band Maroon 5 will also perform on June 14.

Irish pop group Westlife are also bringing their Twenty Tour to the venue on August 29.

More acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, Guy Ngata, chief executive of the Coca-Cola Arena, told The National. He said the venue will host everything from motocross to boxing, as well as Arabic, Bollywood and international acts in the next 12 months.

“It's a game changer for Dubai and the region,” Ngata added. “We can now facilitate needs, up to international standards. Patrons want an improving and evolving experience, and we have a fan first commitment.”
