The Street Dancer 3D cast was set to perform songs from the movie live at the Bollywood Parks on Friday, January 17. However, two days ahead of the event, the cast has pulled out.

"Due to some unforeseen circumstances the team of #StreetDancers won't be able to see you guys in Dubai on 17th Jan,"  production company T-Series announced in a tweet. They did not give an official reason for the last minute cancellation.

The post was retweeted by stars of the movie, Varun Dhawan. Less than 24 hours before, Dhawan had tweeted that they would be coming to the UAE.

Filming in 'Street Dancer 3D' in the UAE

The cast of Street Dancer 3D were in Dubai last year, shooting portions of the movie on a closed set in the park's grounds. Dubai is expected to play host two songs, as well as a selection of scenes from the film.

D’Souza, who was a leading choreographer before he turned to directing, aims to take the spirit and atmosphere of US street dance culture and transpose it into a Bollywood musical with this film. The movie will be released across UAE cinemas on Thursday, January 23.
