A series of five star-studded Arabic concerts have been unveiled, taking place across Abu Dhabi to ring in 2016. Lebanese diva Najwa Karam and Morocco’s Saad Lamjarred join Emirati leading names Hussain Al Jassmi, Balqees Aryam and Fayez Al Saeed as part of the 12 Arab musicians performing at five concerts, hosted between December 29 and 31.

Overseen by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture, the programme kicks off with Al Jassmi and Aryam performing at Yas Island’s du Forum on December 29. A day later, on December 30, Mansour Zayed teams up with Aryam for another Emirati double-header at Al Ain Municipality Theatre.

Al Gharbia’s The Culture Centre in Madinat Zayed will host Emirati musicians Fatima Zahrat and Mohammed Al Menhali on December 30. The programme will climax with two New Year’s eve shows.

The first will see multi-platinum Karam alongside Lamjarred take the stage at Abu Dhabi's National Theatre. At the same time, Al Ain Municipality Theatre will boast an Emirati all-star concert featuring Fayez Al Saeed, Ruwida Al Mahrouqi, Shamma Hamdan and Habib Al Yassi.
