Wiz Khalifa to celebrate the Abu Dhabi F1 at Mad Yas Island

The rapper is part of growing number of urban music acts performing at the Yas Island club

Wiz Khalifa has been announced as the race day performance at Mad Yas Island.

The rapper will return to the UAE for a club performance at the Abu Dhabi super club on Sunday as part of its F1 celebrations.

The 30-year-old known for the hits Black and Yellow and See You Again will come to the capital after a performance in White Dubai the previous night.

He joins growing list of urban music performance at Mad Yas Island which includes Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea on Friday and RnB singer Ne-Yo the following night.

A club spokesperson confirmed to The National that more acts will be revealed during the week.

Wiz Khalifa is presently in the midst of preparing the release of his seventh album, Rolling Papers 2, which already spawned the new track Something New featuring Ty Dolla Sign.

Expect the biggest reaction of the night saved for See You Again, released in 2015 as part of the Furious 7 soundtrack the single was a worldwide smash and is the second video, behind this year’s Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's hit Despacito to reach 3 billion views on YouTube.
