Say what you will about the weak scripts and laughable acting in the Twilight movies, but the soundtracks have always been nothing short of impressive.
It would have been easy for producers to follow the Transformers route and add every big rock name they could find, but instead they chose a more traditional approach in that the tracks are picked to capture the film's mood.
Since the movie focuses on the rosy period of the human/vampire relationship between Bella and Edward, this collection is more upbeat than the previous angsty affairs.
This domestic bliss offers us tracks by the current folk darlings Angus and Julia Stone and their cheery acoustic treat Whose Love Will Take You. Imperial Mammoth also make things nice and cosy with Requiem on Water, containing beautiful harmonies that recall Simon and Garfunkel.
Those getting restless from such twee offerings can get stuck into the power-pop of From Now On by The Features and Cider Sky from the electronic Northern Lights. But musically, it's not all sunshine and roses. Bruno Mars - arguably the biggest artist featured - gets all heavy on It Will Rain while the rockers The Joy Formidables and The Belle's Brigades add some much-needed snarl to the mix to balance out what is another worthwhile addition.
