Timberlake, Biel wed in Italy

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot in southern Italy, they told People magazine on Friday. "It's great to be married. The ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple said in a statement. Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, have been dating for five years. They kept details of their wedding under wraps, not revealing the exact location even to guests until the last minute, according to People, which said it will run details and photos next week. - AFP

Wood: Stones could do more shows

The Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie Wood says the band could possibly play more new shows after they perform a series of concerts in Britain and the US this November. Attending the premiere on Thursday of Crossfire Hurricane, a new film documenting the band's career, Wood said he couldn't believe "how well the band is sounding" in rehearsals. "Once this wheel is turning I don't think it will be able to stop," he said. "It's totally fresh every time we get together. There's a magic that comes." - AP

Quaid's wife files for separation

Dennis Quaid's wife, Kimberly Quaid, filed for legal separation on Friday, five months after she withdrew a divorce petition when the couple decided to give their eight-year-marriage another chance, the actor's representative told E! News. She is reportedly seeking sole physical custody of their 4-year-old twins.

Samberg to star in Schur's new comedy

Andy Samberg has signed on to headline a new cop comedy by the Parks and Recreation creator Mike Schur. "He was the first guy we thought of when we designed the part," Schur told Deadline. The actor will also co-produce the series, which will be broadcast on Fox. Samberg left Saturday Night Live this summer after a seven-year stint. - The National staff

Megan Fox has a baby boy

Megan Fox has taken to social media to announce the birth of her baby boy. She wrote on her Facebook profile on Wednesday that she and husband Brian Austin Green welcomed a son named Noah Shannon on September 27. She described him as "healthy, happy and perfect". "We are humbled to be the parents of this beautiful soul," she wrote. Fox and Green were married in 2010. This is their first child. - AP

Drake gets high school diploma

A day after earning his high school diploma, Drake performed hit songs at an event for Tyra Banks. The 25-year-old told the crowd on Thursday that he took a short break from music and "spent some time going back to high school". "I got my high school diploma," he said with excitement as the crowd roared. The Grammy-nominated Canadian star dropped out of high school, ironically, to star in the high school TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation. - AP
