A French rapping great, Grammy-award nominee and techno music pioneer are all on offer across clubs in the UAE this weekend.
The British producer built a name on the back of his DJing prowess, with sets focusing on underground house and techno, before spending more time in the studio to produce tracks for artists ranging from dance music groups U N K L E and Underworld to pop star Kylie Minogue and Tracey Thorn of Everything but the Girl fame. The latter earned him a Grammy Award nomination in 2006 for his remix of her track Damage. He released his debut album, My Heart, in 2017.

The Congolese rapper and singer is hip-hop royalty in France, having been part of seminal crew Sexion d’Assaut. His solo career took off immediately with the success of his 2013 album Subliminal and the hits kept rolling with club bangers Cameleon and La Meme. Online music platform Deezer named him the seventh most streamed artist last year.

One of the fathers of the Detroit techno scene, with dozens of releases and remixes, Pullen’s body of work has spawned a new generation of artists who have taken the genre down an even more adventurous route. Pullen’s production style is varied and colourful, with a palate that includes jazz, house and garage – with thundering percussion. On the decks, he is renowned for a fun party set.
