The third and last headliner for the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival 2020 has been announced. On Friday, February 28, One Republic will take to the UAE stage, joining Lauryn Hill on Wednesday, February 26, and Lionel Richie on Thursday, February 27.

One Republic, and the band's leading man Ryan Tedder, are best known for hits Apologise, Counting Stars and Stare. They released their new album, Wanted, and a song of the same name this year.

They will be supported by "joyous" jazz band Sammy Miller and The Congregation.

Tedder is the musical genius behind many of the most popular pop hits of modern times, including Right Where I Am Supposed to Be, the anthem of the 2019 Special Olympics World Games, which was held in Abu Dhabi.

It was co-written by Tedder, Nina Woodford and Greg Wells, and performed by the all-star line-up of Avril Lavigne, Tedder, Luis Fonsi, Assala Nasri, Tamer Hosny and Hussain Al Jassmi.

As well as fronting One Republic, Tedder has written hits for the likes of Beyonce (Halo), Adele (Rumour Has It) and Ellie Goulding (Burn).

The 2019 Jazz Fest line-up featured Alicia Keys, Jamiroquai and Snow Patrol. Tickets are available now from Dh350 per day, or Dh850 for all three days. There are also VIP and golden circle options.
